John Cox for the 55th District
![]() |
John Cox is a successful self made businessman that started his own trucking company 27 years ago. Today, Cox Transportation Services now employs nearly 300 people in Hanover County and knows what is needed to create jobs in Virginia. The 55th District had been represented by Delegate Frank Hargrove for nearly 3 decades and will remain in Republican hands after the General Election. John Cox won his nomination in a three way battle with the support of Eric C, Bill Bolling, George Allen, every locally elected Republican in the district, Hanover County Sheriff Stuart Cook, and a wide assortment of Republican activists.
