Sasha Gong for Delegate Sasha Gong is a first generation American from China. She was a political prisoner in the 1970s, when she joined the underground democracy movement. In 1987, Sasha came to the United States and soon joined Harvard University and received a PH.D in 1995. She is a professor, a journalist, and an established author, living in northern Virginia in the past 11 years.
