Jim Hyland for the 35th District

Jim Hyland Jim Hyland is an experienced candidate who will vigorously represent the interests of his district and Northern Virginia. He is a native of Virginia and was born and raised in the 35th District, and attended public schools there. He is a former aide to Senator John Warner and Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. While there, he helped pass legislation to reduce taxes on married couples, criminalize the burning of churches for racial reasons, and create the unique Breast Cancer Stamp. He is a community leader who as served as on the Alumni Board of the George Mason Law School, and spearheaded the drive to build a library in the community of Oakton. He has been married for 24 years and is the father of two boys. He will make a great Delegate for his area and for the Commonwealth.

Tim Nank for the 43th District

Tim Nank Tim Nank lives with his wife Beth and daughters Paige, Reagan, and Lauren in Kingstowne; he serves on the Kingstowne Board of Trustees and the Neighborhood Advisory Board. As a Naval Reservist, he served at Whidbey Island and Fort Lewis. Tim is an expert on national security, having worked in the National Nuclear Security Administration, the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, and the White House. Tim is now a Senior Analyst within the International Security Policy Division at Analytic Services Inc. and teaches graduate courses as an Adjunct Professor at Trinity University. Tim and Beth are volunteers with various community and public service activities, including the No Greater Sacrifice Foundation and Fairfax County Public Schools.
