Scott Garrett is a native of Lynchburg who has served as a General Surgeon since 1989 with over 13,000 patients entrusted to his care. In May 2006, Scott was elected to an at-large City Council seat. During his time on Council he has been a strong voice for fiscal responsibility and keeping city government accountable to the taxpayers. Scott is running because he wants to fight to create, protect and preserve jobs for our families, provide a first-class education for our children by optimizing class sizes, rewarding our best teachers, and keeping more education dollars in the classroom, and give all families access to the quality health care they need and deserve. David B. Albo for the 42nd District

Dave Albo grew up in West Springfield (attending our great Fairfax County Public Schools: Rolling Valley Elem - West Springfield H.S.) and presently lives in South County with his Wife, Rita, and three year old Son, Ben. Dave Albo has served the constituents of Springfield and Southern Fairfax County for 16 years, and his hard work has paid off. Dave has been successful in delivering numerous transportation improvements to his area, including, the re-design of the I-95/395/495 "Mixing Bowl" interchange, the Fairfax Co. Pkwy, Springfield Metro, Lorton VRE, and the widening of both Rt.123 and Lorton Rd. to name a few. As Chairman of the House Courts of Justice Committee, Dave has authored many of Virginia's anti-gang and anti-DUI laws, making Virginia's laws against gangs and drunk drivers the toughest in the U.S.
