Today, Cox Transportation Services now employs nearly 300 people in Hanover County and knows what is needed to create jobs in Virginia. The 55th District had been represented by Delegate Frank Hargrove for nearly 3 decades and will remain in Republican hands after the General Election. John Cox won his nomination in a three way battle with the support of Eric C, Bill Bolling, George Allen, every locally elected Republican in the district, Hanover County Sheriff Stuart Cook, and a wide assortment of Republican activists.

Danny Marshall has been representing the 14th District in the Virginia House of Delegates since 2002. As a former small business owner in Danville, Danny’s focus and priorities are revitalizing Southside’s economy and bringing good paying jobs to the region. Danny serves on the Counties, Cities and Towns Committee (Vice Chair), Commerce and Labor Committee, and Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources Committee. He is also a member of the Tobacco Commission, Manufacturing Development Commission ,New College Institute,Martin Luther King Commission, Public/Private Partnership Advisory Commission, Virginia Housing Commission.

Bob was first elected in 1991 to the Virginia House of Delegates. He is Vice-Chairman of the Counties, Cities and Towns Committee, and Chairman of a Privileges and Elections Sub Committee, as well as the Assembly’s Joint Stem Cell Study Committee.
Bob has a BA in History and Philosophy from Belmont Abbey College, North Carolina, and an MA in Humanities from California State University. He has a personal library of 2000+ books, is an avid reader of history, philosophy, constitutional issues, and medical, social and political issues of importance.
